Shipping, Returns & Care
Every Evanthia piece is sent to you with care. Here is what to expect once your order is placed, and how to look after your jewelry for years to come.
Shipping
Each Evanthia piece is crafted with intention, with many designs made especially for you. Please allow up to 6 weeks from the time your order is placed for your piece to be completed and delivered. Custom pieces require 6–8 weeks.
Select pieces are available and ready to ship, and will be dispatched sooner.
Should you require your piece by a particular date, please contact us at info@evanthia.ca prior to placing your order. We will always do our best to accommodate your timeline.
- Shipping is complimentary and fully insured on every order.
- We ship worldwide.
- Each order is sent with tracking, and a signature is required on delivery.
- For orders outside Canada, any import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient. They are set by the destination country and are not included in our prices. If a parcel is refused because of duties, the piece is refunded as store credit once it is returned to us.
Returns & exchanges
We hope you love your Evanthia piece. Should you wish to make a return, eligible pieces may be returned within 14 days of delivery for store credit or exchange.
As each piece is thoughtfully crafted, we do not offer refunds to the original method of payment.
To be eligible for return, pieces must be unworn, in their original condition, and returned with their original packaging.
Personalized & Custom Pieces
Pieces created or altered specifically for you are considered final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.
This includes:
- Rings made to your selected ring size
- Pieces made with a stone or gemstone modification
- Engraved pieces
- Personalized designs, including initial jewelry
- Bespoke and custom commissions
Because these pieces are crafted to your individual specifications, they cannot be restocked or resold.
How to start a return
To request a return or exchange, please contact us at info@evanthia.ca within 14 days of delivery, including your order number.
Our team will provide you with the appropriate return instructions. Once your piece has been received and inspected, your store credit or exchange will be arranged.
Caring for your jewelry
Fine jewelry is made to be worn, and a little care keeps it looking its best. All our jewels are made in solid gold or platinum, which means they won’t fade or change colour over time and will look the same forever. The care instructions below are simply to reduce the natural wear and tear that takes place over time.
Everyday wear
- Put your jewelry on last, after lotions, perfume and hairspray.
- Take it off before swimming, bathing, exercising, gardening or cleaning. Chlorine and household chemicals can damage gold and gemstones.
- Remove rings before heavy work with your hands to protect the settings from knocks.
Cleaning
- Soak your piece in warm water with a few drops of mild dish soap for a few minutes.
- Gently brush around the stones and settings with a soft toothbrush.
- Rinse in clean water and pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cloths. Ask us before using an ultrasonic cleaner, as it is not suitable for every gemstone.
Storage
- Store each piece separately in its pouch or box so harder stones don’t scratch other pieces.
- Fasten necklaces before storing them to prevent tangling.
Check-ups
- Every few months, check that stones are secure and prongs aren’t snagging. If something feels loose, stop wearing the piece and contact us.
- White gold is finished with rhodium plating, which can soften with wear over time. Contact us if you would like it refreshed.
Repairs & resizing
Manufacturing errors
If your piece has a manufacturing error, we will repair it free of charge. Email info@evanthia.ca with your order number and photos of the issue, and we will arrange the repair.
Ring resizing
Rings can be resized up to one full size up or down, for a fee. Contact us with your order number and the size you need, and we will confirm the cost before any work begins.
Please note: rings with detailing around the band, such as milgrain edges, rope edges and full eternity bands, cannot be resized.
