Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale apply to every purchase of Evanthia jewelry, whether ordered through our website, by email or following a consultation. Please read them before placing your order. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms, together with our Shipping, Returns & Care policy and our Privacy Policy.

1. About Evanthia

Evanthia is a fine jewelry business based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. You can reach us at any time at info@evanthia.ca.

2. Prices and Taxes

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclude applicable taxes, such as GST, QST or HST, which are added at checkout or on your invoice.

Pieces marked “Price upon request,” including engagement rings and custom commissions, are quoted individually. Your quote is confirmed in writing before any work begins.

Prices may change without notice, but the price confirmed for your order will not change once your order is accepted. If a piece is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of an error, we will contact you before processing the order, and you may choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel at no cost.

3. Orders and Payment

An order is accepted once we confirm it to you by email. We may decline an order, for example if a piece or stone is no longer available, in which case any payment received is refunded in full.

Payment for pieces with a listed price is due when the order is placed. Payment terms for made-to-order and custom pieces are set out in your written quote.

4. Production Times

Many Evanthia pieces are made especially for you. Please allow up to 6 weeks from the time your order is placed for your piece to be completed and delivered. Custom pieces require 6–8 weeks. Select pieces are available and ready to ship, and will be dispatched sooner.

If you need your piece by a particular date, please let us know before placing your order. We will always do our best to accommodate your timeline and will tell you promptly if we expect a delay.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping is complimentary and fully insured on every order. Each order is sent with tracking, and a signature is required on delivery.

Your piece remains insured by us until it is delivered to you. For orders outside Canada, any import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient. They are set by the destination country and are not included in our prices. If a parcel is refused because of duties, the piece is refunded as store credit once it is returned to us.

6. Returns and Exchanges

Eligible pieces may be returned within 14 days of delivery for store credit or exchange. As each piece is thoughtfully crafted, we do not offer refunds to the original method of payment, except where required by law.

To be eligible for return, pieces must be unworn, in their original condition, and returned with their original packaging. To start a return, email info@evanthia.ca with your order number.

7. Final Sale Pieces

Pieces created or altered specifically for you are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange. This includes:

• Rings made to your selected ring size
• Pieces made with a stone or gemstone modification
• Engraved pieces
• Personalized designs, including initial jewelry
• Bespoke and custom commissions

Engravings are made exactly as you enter them, so please check spelling and punctuation before ordering.

8. Diamonds, Gemstones and Images

Each listing states whether a piece is set with natural or lab-grown diamonds. Certificates are provided only with pieces set with certified stones.

The colours of natural gemstones and coloured diamonds may vary and may differ slightly from the images shown. Photographs show a piece in a particular metal, and screens display colour differently, so your piece may look slightly different from its images.

9. Manufacturing Errors, Care and Resizing

If your piece has a manufacturing error, we will repair it free of charge. Email info@evanthia.ca with your order number and photos of the issue, and we will arrange the repair.

Normal wear, loss of stones caused by impact, damage from accidents or improper care, and alterations made by another jeweller are not manufacturing errors.

Rings can be resized up to one full size up or down, for a fee confirmed before any work begins. Rings with detailing around the band, such as milgrain edges, rope edges and full eternity bands, cannot be resized.

10. Your Legal Rights

Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under the consumer protection laws that apply to you, including the Quebec Consumer Protection Act and its legal warranty of quality. Where these Terms differ from those laws, the laws prevail.

11. Intellectual Property

The designs, photographs, text and other content on this website belong to Evanthia and may not be copied or used without our written permission.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect when you place your order applies to that order.
